Napoleonic Shirt (SH120N)

These linen shirts are made to the same body pattern as our standard C18th SH120 but have a much higher shaped collar.

This fashionable shape was much favoured by romantic types at the beginning of C19th.

The pattern is taken directly from an original shirt and can turn down over the cravat at the front. The collar itself is 5in high at the front.

This shirt uses the standard C18th square gusset pattern and is made from a very fine linen which softens wonderfully when washed.

These are voluminous garments cut in the same way as the originals of the period. Perfect for C18th - C19th costume, not ideal for those familiar only with C21st clothing who may find them intimidatingly large.
